As a Civil Affairs Specialist, you’ll be the link between the Army and local civilians around the world. You will identify what critical resources local citizens may need during missions or in crisis situations, fostering and maintaining dialogue with civilian aid agencies and civilian relief and assistance organizations. And you’ll be responsible for coordinating, conducting, and participating in the planning and production of civil affairs related documents.
Testing & Certifications:
- 9 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available.
- 10 weeks of Basic Training (Paid).
- 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (Paid).
- Requires enlistment into the United States Army.
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
- Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card. (I-551).
- Age: Between 17 to 34 Years Old.
- Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent
