As a Utilities Equipment Repairer, you’ll supervise and perform maintenance on vital utilities equipment and support systems, such as air conditioners and refrigeration units, to make sure they are kept in top working condition in any environment. You’ll train to read temperature and pressure gauges, make operating adjustments to utility equipment, test for leaks, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and read and use technical manuals and diagnostic instruments.
Testing & Certifications:
- 125 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available.
- 10 weeks of Basic Training (Paid).
- 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (Paid).
- Requires enlistment into the United States Army.
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
- Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card. (I-551).
- Age: Between 17 to 34 Years Old.
- Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
